same in the show.
Ankit Thakker mentioned that our aim was to develop a wheelchair that can be operated by differently abled people, that is
maintenance free and yet cost effective. We started with a prototype and developed a market ready wheelchair with team efforts,
within one year. Staff of V.V.P. Engineering College, Rajkot has provided noteworthy technical guidance and cooperation in making
our brainchild a reality. Lions Club Rajkot Main has provided all the financial support that was required for our wheelchair. The
Honorable Chairman of the college, Shri Pravinbhai Maniar also met these students and congratulated them on their achievement. This
entire thing had been video recorded.
Smart Wheelchair can be operated by Speech Recognition, Neck Movement and Joystick. It can also be operated by care taker using
wireless remote controller.
Feature of Smart Wheelchair:
 The specialty of this wheelchair is that it entirely can be controlled by the voice of handicapped person or by holding a
joystick device in the hand or by neck movement.

It can carry weight up to 100kgs.
 Overweight do not damage the circuit and there is automatic shut-down.
 It is foldable and it’s operated on battery pack.
 It can be operated by care taker with the help of remote control.
 It is facilitated with Temperature Sensing and Protection, Air Cooling system and Over Load Protection.
 This wheelchair is ready to be launched in market.
In spite of being fully loaded with capabilities, it is cost-effective compared to available wheelchairs in the market. In order to prepare
smart wheelchair at low cost, the students designed entire wheelchair: from circuit to wheels, from scratch, with the help of latest
