GTU has introduced S4 Extension Center initiative for all the GTU affiliated colleges.
At the maiden event of S4 Extension Center at Babaria Institute of Technology, Vadodara,
eight CEOs came to the campus to inter-act with the students.

Eight CEOs participated from various start up initiatives during inaugural S4 extension center
event at BITS edu. Campus at Vadodara
24th October 2013
Babaria Institute of Technology, Vadodara established S4 (Student Start-up Support System)
Extension center at Vadodara campus. During the inaugural event they jointly hosted an event
“CEOs in campus” with e-chai community of Gujarat. They very 1st event saw very active
response from the young students as well as local start ups.
The following entrepreneurs participated during this event at S4 extension center to interact
with young minds who aspire to become next generation entrepreneurs.

The half day program set the mood of the inaugurals event of the S4 extension center. More
than 200 young students who had shared to become entrepreneurs participated during the
event. Vice chairman of BITs edu campus, Mr. Dhruv Patel ensured all logistic support and
committed that they aspire to build several 100 square foot space inside campus exclusively to
give chance to these spinoffs to get incubated in days to come. He shared that they will allocate
dedicated resource and strategies to support young start ups of the campus and area pertaining
to this S4 extension centers. It was shared that during a series of such 15-20 activities within
next semester a huge start up literacy mission will be launched at this center. To start with the
organizers and leaders in this initiative have already started making linkages with local start up
ecosystems at Vadodara.
The S4 extension center has decided to invite half a dozen CEOs and co-founders every 15 days
into the campus and let all students interact and learn from their journey and some time cocreate better innovations. This S4 extension center has shown interest to design and develop a
series of activity in coming even semester and ensuring its active participation in all events of
Central S4 initiatives at GTU.
