Anand Pharmacy College, established in 1998 under the aegis of Shri
RamKrishna Seva Mandal (SRKSM), recently underwent the second
cycle of supervision by National Assessment and Accreditation Council
(NAAC). NAAC is an independent body established by University Grant
Commission which gives accreditation to the colleges engaged in
imparting high quality education in India.
NAAC evaluatorsvisited college on 6-7th February 2015 for inspection.
NAAC as part of assessment procedure underlines various criteria such
as Curricular Aspects, Teaching-Learning and Evaluation, Research,
Consultancy and Extension, Infrastructure and Learning Resources,
Student Support and Progression, Governance, Leadership and
Management, Innovations and Best Practices of the institute. Anand
Pharmacy College stood out best and received ‘A’ grade with CGPA of
3.06.
This remarkable success of institute is only possible through ceaseless
and motivational support of Gujarat Technological University and
SRKSM management. President of SRKSM Shri Hemantbhai Patel,
Honorary secretary of SRKSM, Smt. Jytosanaben Patel and other
members of management appreciated the sincere dedication of various
stakeholders: Teaching-non teaching staff members, students, parents,
alumni, employers, etc. of Anand Pharmacy College.
This announcement added more glee as National Board of Accreditation
(NBA) in 2014 had accredited B.Pharm course of Anand Pharmacy
College.
