PERFORMANCE RESULTS
LEADERSHIP
Vision: New Hampshire Estates seeks to be a role model of a
multicultural learning community.
Mission: Parents and staff pledge to work together to support students,
helping them meet high academic standards. We provide a safe, caring
and nurturing environment. We teach students to be responsible,
creative, and respectful. Through engaging, meaningful instruction, we
empower them to become life-long learners.
STUDENT AND
STAKEHOLDER FOCUS
As a result of the Root Cause Analysis, it
was determined that in order to increase
the reading performance for all students,
students need: daily guided reading
instruction using specific reading
strategies (i.e. decoding,
comprehension, and fluency), daily and
explicit writing instruction, daily
opportunities to answer text dependent
and higher level questions, and student
discourse. In order to meet the needs
of our students, the following
instructional foci for 2014-2015 will be:

Students need daily purposeful and
effective guided reading instruction.

Students need daily opportunities
to incorporate writing in math.
FACULTY AND STAFF FOCUS
As a result of the root cause analysis and

Communication: Our goals, actions, and progress towards meeting our
goals will be communicated to all stakeholders through our school
newsletters, Back-to-School Nights, website, and through staff,
leadership, and PTA meetings.
STRATEGIC PLANNING
NHE’s goal is for all students to excel in reading, writing, and
mathematics. Based on the disaggregated analysis of district-wide
milestones, our focus will be to ensure that all testing groups meet or
exceed the end-of-the-year reading and math benchmarks.
Reading Goals/Objectives for 2014-2015:
All students and all subgroups in New Hampshire Estates Elementary
School in grades K-2 will meet the end-of-the-year benchmarks on
mClass Reading Assessments by the completion of the 2014-2015
school year.
Math Goals/Objectives for 2014-2015:
All students and all subgroups in New Hampshire Estates Elementary
School in grades K-2 will increase their performance on MAP-P by 5
points by the completion of the 2014-2015 school year.
PROCESS MANAGEMENT
As a result of the root cause analysis, the following structures and
processes will be implemented and monitored to address student and
staff needs: weekly Core Team (CT), monthly School Improvement
Team (SIT) and Leadership Team (LT) meetings, monthly data chats,
monthly Collaborative Problem Solving meetings, and bi-weekly
common planning time for curriculum study. The following processes
will be used to continuously evaluate our school progress:




PDSA to monitor Baldrige action plan for reading and
Learning progressions designed to support guided reading
instruction
MEASUREMENT, ANALYSIS, AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT
NHE will frequently collect and use a variety of data to inform instructional
decisions and share with stakeholders. Data will include:
