• Current recruitment partners

• New fund to support
recruitment partnerships
• Strategic approach, working
with each school/cluster
• Aim to develop large-scale
partnerships in a small number
of international markets
• Models include 1+3, 2+2, 1+1,
double/joint programmes and
fee-paying Study Abroad
Research partnerships
Aim is to enhance research quality

• Developing critical mass

centre globally

New International Research Partnerships and
Networks Fund launched in 2014, funding two
three-year programmes:
Sussex Centre for Migration Research
• ‘European / South East Asian Research
Network on Migration’
• Partners: Mahidol (Thailand), with potential
to include National University of Singapore
and Humboldt University (Germany)
Sussex Centre for America Studies
• ‘Paris as an American City’
• Seven international partners, including
Stanford and the University of Chicago
