COUNSELOR’S CORNER
The mission of the Georgian Forest Elementary Counseling Department is to build a comprehensive developmental
counseling program addressing the academic, career, and personal/social development of all students. Programs
developed by the Georgian Forest Counseling Department will be driven by data, the unique cultural, and economic
diversity of our entire student population with the goal of removing barriers to student learning and encouraging
achievement at the highest level. Through collaboration with the school and community stakeholders, all students will be
prepared academically and socially to contribute as productive leaders of society.
Meet our Counselors:
Ms. Evans received her B.S. in Elementary Education from Morgan State University, and her M.S. in School Counseling
from the University of Maryland at College Park. Ms. Evans has been a school counselor at Georgian Forest Elementary
School for the past 3 years, and can’t wait for another great year of social and emotional growth with our grizzlies! If you
need to contact Ms. Evans, you can email her at [email protected].
Ms. Price graduated from the University of Alabama with her B.S. in Secondary Education, and her M.Ed. in School
Counseling from the University of Central Florida. She recently returned back to Montgomery County to serve the
community where she grew up. Her overriding goal as a counselor is to help make students’ lives better! If you need to
