Spelling Bee Celebration: Our fir st annual gr ade level spelling bee competition was an over whelming success.
The students were prepared and delighted us with their confidence and skills. The spelling bee competition was held
for individual grade level teams and for our learning center program. Students studied high school level vocabulary
words during to prepare for the competition. Each grade level excelled as our students competed through multiple
rounds before a winner was determined. We congratulate all of our finalist and winners for their accomplishment.

Dear Parents,
Thank you to our parents who came out on a cold and snowy Saturday
morning to participate in our math workshop. The energy was high as
everyone enjoyed a warm pancake breakfast and fun interactive experiences with fractions. We appreciate the support you give to the school,
our programs and to our students. Your participation helps us to provide high quality instruction and gives you the tools to continue the
learning at home. We are encouraged by your investment in these
events and will continue to provide our parent community with more
opportunities to explore the curriculum and learn strategies that help
your children to thrive and achieve in school. We will host our next
event in April and the focus will be on reading. See you then!

CALLING ALL PARENTS TO HELP WITH CRESTHAVEN’S ANNUAL . . .
CAREER DAY
FRIDAY, MAY 1st from 9:30-11:30
On Friday, May 1st, our school will be holding a Career Day for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students! We are in need of parent volunteers
who are willing to speak with students about their careers. We would like for students to understand the connection between their
academic learning and the tasks they might someday perform in the working world. This is also a great opportunity for students to
learn about and explore the many different careers that exist in our community!
In preparing for this exciting day, we need to know if you would be willing to come and speak to specific classes about your career.
(Discussion topics may include: career description, information on training/preparation, most rewarding/least enjoyable parts of
your day, etc.) More detailed information will be sent to you in the weeks to come. Please sign and return the form below indicating
