The Metamorphosis Project 2014 Learning Conference July 21‐23 Mountain Brook High School MB‐S14223 This is Your Brain… Monday, July 21 2:00‐3:00 p.m. MBHS Target Audience: Teachers Grades 7‐12 This session will be an overview of brain development and the impact that it has on learning and behavior. We will attempt to understand the preteen/teenage mind. I’m not a brain expert, just a nerd who finds the brain intriguing. Because I am also a counselor, we will discuss hormones, chemicals, and teenage behaviors in regards to the changing complexity of the not‐so‐developed mind of our students. Presenter: Amy Cane
