The information will yield a more concrete understanding of Monroe County’s current criminal justice situation. The project focuses on the areas of arrests, criminal offenses, sentences, and dispositions for adults and juveniles in Monroe County as well as data concerning the Rochester Police Department and the Monroe County Jail inmate population. The intent is to use this information more extensively in future papers that focus on each area of information covered by this project.
