Writing and Language
During December, students will continue collaborating in groups and researching
the change of technology over time. They will organize facts, details, and
definitions to develop and present ideas.
Students will then design, produce, and record video skits to share their research
with their class. Students will evaluate each skit based upon a set of
predetermined criteria, and use these evaluations as the basis for opinion writing
at the end of the marking period.
Science and Health
In December, students will:
Chemistry
 Investigate physical changes to objects or materials.
Engineering and Technology
 Develop testable questions to investigate how human wants or needs
influence technology.
