Play for at least 10 minutes. First draw a 4-square court on your driveway with chalk. If possible each square should be 6’ by 6’. The whole court should be 12’ by 12’. (Or something close to that size. Print out and return to Coach Thomas or Coach Cain when completed. Due date is February 16th. 1 2 4 3 Gym rules for 4 square: Player 4 underhand strikes the ball (serves) to square 2. The ball must be dropped, bounce struck. Player 2 must underhand strike the ball after it bounces once in the square to any square they choose. Game continues until a fault occurs. Lines are “out” When a player in squares 1, 2, 3 commits a fault, the player in square 4 scores one point. Common faults: o Ball striking the line or out of bounds o Ball struck after two bounces or before it bounces once. o Overhand or side-hand striking. o Striking a ball that does not bounce in your square.
