He referred to the large cost, th possibility of network services provided for educational st tions by foundations and other agencies, and the special im_ortance of television to Oregon stat~ College with its s ate-wide program of adult education~ Mr. Scheel spoke a a recent joint purchase by Oregon state College and the Ge eral Extension Division of a machine for sound film, a step toward pr-oductdon for television.
