A survey was sent to students of De Anza College Nursing Program in late March 2007,
which included the following clinical courses:

NURS82L
NURS83L
NURS83AL
NURS84L
NURS85L
NURS85AL
NURS86L
A total of 19 students from NURS84L instructed by Sherri Cozzens (12 students) or
Peggy Smith (7 students) responded to the survey.
Important highlights include:
• 100% of the students strongly agreed or agreed that their clinical objectives and
responsibilities were stated in a clear and understandable manner.
•
90% of the students strongly agreed or agreed that learning experiences selected
were based on individual student needs.
•
90% of the students strongly agreed or agreed that the course “demonstrates
understanding and sensitivity to student needs.”
•
95% of the students strongly agreed or agreed that the course “encourages
realistic goals for student performance.”
