Objectives



Determine correlation between RSSI
and distance.
Find relationship between packet loss
and RSSI.
Examine the effect of delay upon
distance.
Testing Method


TELNET into one of the non-gateway
nodes and placed it close to the
gateway.
Pinged the other non-gateway node,
varying the distance by using the fact
that 1 tile = 1 foot.

Obstacles can cause significant
interference (loss in RSSI)
Distance does not greatly impact delay
Do not see significant packet loss until
RSSI approaches -92dBm
RSSI is not highly correlated with
