You've probably heard a variety of terms such as Gamification or Game‐Based Learning tossed around the educational arena. You also probably cannot get your students to stop talking about games like Minecraft and how much they have learned about it. During this session we will explore the world of game‐based learning and try out a variety of games that actually open up opportunities for students to make connections to learning in the classroom. Bring any device preloaded with your favorite game. You will also want to bring a Chromebook, MacBook, or PC Laptop as we will explore many games that require a full functioning web browser to access and utilize to its fullest potential.
