I worked in the beauty and grooming department, but specifically for the brand Olay. Olay is a global skin care brand. I was a brand design management co-op at Olay, where I learned to manage a brand by creating and executing brand vision, and working with design agencies. I really liked working in Downtown Cincinnati. It was sur- rounded by all of the other major corporations. It also was five minutes away from the Ohio River, which separates Ohio and Kentucky. It was a lot of fun to be able to go to Kentucky so easily. They had a levee there that overlooked the river with restaurants lot of reading on the company culture. She was also co-oping downtown at the headquarters, and she was also a Graphic Design major. We decided to live at the local college campus where many other interns also lived, so we met several people there. There were also some P&G co-op events where we got introduced to other design co-ops, and since it was a very small group (10 people across all P&G locations in Cincinnati) we became very close. Outside of work, my friends and I explored the city. There was a lot to see. We also explored Kentucky, and visited Louisville for a weekend! I think it was important to see the city/surrounding areas. We really enjoyed that. nati Reds Stadium, and gave us a tour. They had the P&G Group President speak to us, and then afterwards was a happy hour where we could approach upper level management from all categories and departments and ask any questions we had. It was great to see how diverse the co-op group was, and it was a nice opportunity to be able to talk to employees outside of our department. My biggest tip is to make the most of your co-ops! Be friendly, out-going and social. Never miss an opportunity to make a connection with someone. They will go out of their way for you if you make a good impression. s ar eer rvice Se
