eDay is a day in which students
receive their classroom instruction
electronically.
 These days require students to work at
home and do not require physical
attendance in school buildings.

 real-time learning linked to in-class
learning,
 a reflection of a normal school day, and
 a valuable day of instruction.









Confirmed with the ALSDE that teachers would be
required to make up the workday
Worked with the community businesses and the public
library for access
Utilized existing technology resources such as Moodle

Provided professional development for teachers and
developed sample lessons
Provided one on one help for teachers that needed it.
Provided online tech support for launch dates.
Communicated to parents multiple times as a district,
as local school principals, and as teachers.

Our teachers communicate with parents and/or
students in greater detail as the specific eDay
draws near. eDay assignments are posted prior
to the eDay to assist in accommodating family
schedules.


student’s teacher or principal.
