Minnesota Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH)
Family Group
Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH)
is a rare condition that affects the way
the body makes hormones and handles
stress.
The Minnesota Department of Health
supports the parent-led Family Group
to:
•Support families of children with
CAH
•Provide a way for families to meet
and connect with other families
•Share information and resources
about CAH and it’s treatment
Raising a child with CAH can cause
challenges for parents. These
challenges are best understood and
shared with other families who are
also dealing with CAH.
The MN CAH Family Group meets throughout the year.
Families connect, share experiences and get to know each
other at all meetings. Some meetings also have an
educational focus on topics of interest to families.
Parents or individuals can also connect through the
Minnesota Department of Health’s private Facebook group.
