New Software Features in Release 15.4(2)S Point-to-point protocol over Ethernet Intermediate Agent Point-to-point protocol over Ethernet Intermediate Agent (PPPoE IA) is placed between a subscriber and Broadband Remote Access Server (BRAS). PPPoE IA helps the service provider BRAS to distinguish between end hosts connected over Ethernet and an access device. CSCum25901 When the access node-id is not specified, Management interface IP can not be configured as an access node id. CSCum25999 When ingress encap is dot1ad, Pop1, Pop2, 2 to 1 re-write are not working. CSCum29903 show ip igmp snooping mrouter command shows VLAN. CSCum33167 When PPPoE-IA is enabled on the switch, the switch forwards PADR/PADT packets to untrusted port. CSCun55555 shut and no shut operations are not allowed on port-channel interface. CSCuo43348 Configuration is lost when upgrading the image from Cisco IOS Release 15.2(2)SA or 15.2(2)SA2 to 15.4(2)S. CSCue91389 New feature Point-to-point protocol over Ethernet Intermediate Agent (PPPoE IA) Feature is added. CSCug21214 Feature Enhancement- Multicast VLAN Registration (MVR) is now available in the global mode. CSCug91129 The ddr control setting are changed to support new ddr chip "MT41K256M8DA-125 IT:K" in rommon. CSCuh98244 When pinging to the device, the latency is high. The Round Trip Time (RTT) for repeated ping of 5000 packets is more than 300 msec for some intermittent packets. CSCui68590 The device is required to support IPv6 In-Band management support using the BDI Interface. Currently, this support exists only on L3 Interface and Management port. CSCui68798 Crypto keys generated for ssh login do not get restored after reload. When write memory is executed, the keys get stored under the file private-config. CSCui81968 When running no mvr type source or no mvr type receiver, commands, the FP entry is not removed and is still seen.
