(OAM) protocol. It includes proactive connectivity monitoring, fault verification, and fault isolation for large Ethernet metropolitan-area
networks (MANs) and WANs.
For more information about CFM over EVC, see the Cisco ME 2600X Series Ethernet Access Switch Software Configuration Guide.
Y.1731 Multicast Loopback Ping
This feature provides support for Y.1731 multicast loopback ping extension.
For more information about Y.1731 multicast loopback ping, see the CFM over EVC chapter in Cisco ME 2600X Series Ethernet
Access Switch Software Configuration Guide.

Using the Bug Search Tool
This chapter describes how you can use the bug search tool to search for bugs in a Cisco IOS release.
Bug Severity Levels
The system grades known problems (bugs) according to severity level. These release notes contain descriptions of the following bug
levels:
• All severity level 1 or 2 bugs
• Significant severity level 3 bugs
• All customer-found bugs
Access Bug Search
You can search for problems by using the Cisco Bug Search tool.
To access Bug Search, you need the following items:
• Internet connection
• Web browser
• Cisco.com user ID and password
Using Bug Search Tool
This section explains how to use the Bug ToolKit to search for a specific bug.

Caveat List for Cisco IOS Release 15.4(3)S and Later
This chapter describes the open severity 1 and 2 caveats, and select severity 3 caveats:
The "Open Caveats" sections list open caveats that apply to the current release and may apply to previous releases. A caveat that is
open for an earlier release and is still unresolved, applies to all future releases until it is resolved.
The bug IDs are sorted alphanumerically.
Note
The Caveats section includes the bug ID and a short description of the bug. For details on the symptoms,
conditions, and workaround for a specific caveat you must use the Bug Search Tool. For more details, see
