Cisco AsyncOS version 8.8.x for Cisco Web
Security Appliance
Cisco announces the end-of-life dates for the Cisco AsyncOS version 8.8.x software
for Cisco Web Security Appliance.
Software maintenance will not be available for the stated software versions beyond November 1, 2016.
Application software support will not be available for the stated software versions beyond November 1, 2017.
SW Maintenance releases will be made available via Hot Patches or AsyncOS version 8.8.x.
Software maintenance and application software support requires an active service contract. After these dates, all
support services for the product are unavailable, and the product becomes obsolete.
Product Migration Options
Customers are encouraged to migrate to AsyncOS for Cisco Web Security Appliance version 9.x and later.
