The Gen Ed proposal went before ICC on Nov 8. It is scheduled on the Nov 18 Academic Senate agenda. See
the Gen Ed page for more info: http://www.rit.edu/conversion/facstaff_education.php. The undergrad
programs that are being reviewed by ICC now will be re-reviewed after the Gen Ed guidelines are approved.
An incorrect start date for summer semester appeared on the web posted Academic Calendar 2013. This has
now been corrected. Please take note of the revised calendar if you previously downloaded a copy.

The following programs have been recently reviewed by Grad Council:
o CAST Facility Management Masters Program
o KGCOE Microsystems PhD Program
The following programs have been recently reviewed by ICC:
o KGCOE Industrial Engineering
o KGCOE Computer Engineering
o KGCOE Mechanical Engineering
o GCCIS Networking and Systems Administration
Regarding the program PDFs placed in the ICC/GC shell. If the coordinator has any reason to replace a
program PDF in this shell, they have been asked to please put a clearly visible version number on the
first page of the PDF. If it is version # 1, no need to put the number on it, but any substitution (big or
small change) should have a version number. They do not need to delete the older versions, according
to Fernando, as long as the newer one is clearly marked.
INCOMING Q & A:
Q. Who are the coordinators for GIS and for Center for Multidisciplinary Studies?
A. GIS is Paul Stiebitz and CMS is Jim Myers.
