A four-character code composed of 3 digits followed by a letter will be used, where the letter will be used to distinguish among various lengths of co-op terms. This new co-op designation system does not replace the Registrar's co=op designation, it compliments it. Details can be found in the Semester Conversion's Recent Changes area dated 12.14.10. • The new Institute Writing Committee website contains information about the RIT Writing Policy and the process for designating writing intensive courses, including a list of questions that have been frequently asked of the committee. We hope that faculty and staff will find the information useful as they go through the semester conversion process. http://www.rit.edu/academicaffairs/academicsenate/iwc/ • The following programs have been recently reviewed by Grad Council: o KGCOE - ME in Industrial and Systems Engineering o KGCOE - MS in Industrial and Systems Engineering o KGCOE - ME in Engineering Management • The following programs have been recently reviewed by ICC: o SCB - Management o SCB - Management Information Systems o NTID - Computer Integrated Machining Technology AOS o COLA - Economics o COLA - Professional and Technical Communications RECENT CHANGES 1 12.14.10 – Approved Non 3 Credit Course list updated 12.14.10 – Co Op Course Numbering guidelines added 12.15.10 – Writing Intensive website/conversion process added Packet Menu: https://www.rit.edu/conversion/facstaff_program_conversion_packet.php CONVERSION RELATED MEETINGS • • The General Education Committee met 12/17/10.
