Discontinued http://www.rit.edu/conversion/facstaff_redesign.php Packet Menu: https://www.rit.edu/conversion/facstaff_program_conversion_packet.php NEW PROCEDURE RIT Policy and Procedures Review Initiation Form for GeneSIS project Leads and Calendar Conversion, etc. to submit policy changes that need to go to the appropriate governance group for review. Forms go to Kathleen Martin who initiates the review with the appropriate Governance Body. The Contact Person who initiates the form remains the person responsible for shepherding the policy change in meetings of the respective 1 governance groups, as and when needed. An online version of the form is forthcoming; Paper form can be requested through Calendar Conversion email [email protected] CONVERSION RELATED MEETINGS • The Co-op/Internship/Study Abroad Semester Conversion Committee met on March 23 with F. Naveda, C. McKenzie, and J. Loffredo. As a result of this meeting, H. Etlinger and M. Contomanolis, representing the committee, will attend the April 1 meeting of the Calendar Conversion Process Committee. • The Scheduling Committee met 3/29/11 and is scheduled to meet every Tuesday. • The Cross-Disciplinary Committee met last week. • The Gen Ed Committee met 4/1/11. • Advising Committee(s): o The Dean’s Delegates/Assistant Deans met on 3/30/11. o The [Dean’s Delegates] IAP [Individual Advising Plan and Logistics] subcommittee met on 3/30. o The [Dean’s Delegates] Advisor’s Core Responsibilities [additional Advisors for Conversion] subcommittee met in 3/28. TEACHING AND LEARNING SERVICES As redesigned programs rapidly pass review, faculty members have an idea of the semester-long classes they’ll be teaching in 2013.
