The forum will provide Calendar Conversion and GeneSIS project status updates with time for Q & A. • The CDC (Cross Disciplinary Committee) voted to approve, and the Provost approved 24 non-3 semester hour course waivers for CIAS. • The Scheduling Committee has issued draft recommended semester scheduling policies. The draft policies were also presented at the Chairs and Directors meeting this week. • NYSED has approved 30 programs. The list of converted programs approved by NYSED is posted on the Calendar Conversion website: http://www.rit.edu/conversion/facstaff_redesign.php. • Academic Senate has approved 106 programs. The list on converted programs apporved by Academic Senate are posted on the Calendar Conversion website: https://www.rit.edu/conversion/media/documents/ApprovedProgramsbySenate.pdf. • The following programs have been recently reviewed by Grad Council: o CIAS – MFA in Ceramics & Ceramic Sculpture o CIAS – MFA in Glass o CIAS – MFA in Medical Illustration o GCCIS – MS in Computer Security & Information Assurance o GCCIS – Advanced Certificate in Information Assurance 1 • The following programs have been recently reviewed by ICC: o NTID – Applied Computer Technology AS o CIAS – Glass CONVERSION RELATED MEETINGS • The Deans Delegates/Assistant Deans met 4/26/11. • The IAP subcommittee (Deans Delegates) met 4/27/11 and 5/4/11. • The Calendar Conversion Steering Committee met 5/2/11. • The Scheduling Committee met 5/3/11. • The Calendar Conversion Process Committee is scheduled to meet 5/12/11.
