The GeneSIS project and the Semester Conversion project will reach a convergence point as recently redesigned course records are loaded into the new Student Information System (SIS) as part of the GeneSIS project Go Live 1. To ensure appropriate transparency and informative preparation for the changes to come, Joe’s meetings will offer administrators, faculty, staff and advisors in the colleges the opportunity to learn more about course changes, code changes, the Sem Con database project [created by Software Engineering students to ingest Semester Conversion Course Outline Forms, SIS Academic Structure, the Fall 2012 course schedule and an initiative for creating scheduling info for the Fall 2013 course schedule.
