Blended Learning: (Re)designing your Courses for the Best of F2F and Online
Semesters are coming and you are probably looking for ways to (re)design your courses. Don’t
miss this unique opportunity to get some course design work done while collaborating with
colleagues from across the university.
Would you like to have better discussions, greater participation, and more outside-of-class
interaction? Would you prefer more flexibility in organizing your office hours, pacing
assignments, and providing feedback on student work? Would you like use myCourses to its full
potential? If so, this workshop may be exactly right for you.
Please join Instructional Design Consultants from RIT’s Teaching & Learning Services, along with
RIT faculty experienced in blended learning, for a special workshop on Monday, November 21,
2011, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, in the TLT Studio (05-A400).
Seating is limited and registration is on a first come, first served basis. Participants should bring
their course syllabus or syllabi and a laptop computer, if available. Upon successful completion
of the workshop, participants will receive a $100 stipend. Lunch will be provided.
