The first step in this process, already in progress, focuses on course needs as opposed to specific time sections and actual number of seats. Leadership from each of the colleges are engaged in this and have begun to identify their programs’ course offerings and course needs for the fall and spring semesters of academic year 2013 – 2014. The data generated by the colleges will be processed by the Registrar and will be prepared for the second step. The first version of the 2013 - 2014 schedule of courses is expected to be ready by the end of May 2012. Adjustments to that schedule will continue throughout the summer. • NYSED has approved 100 academic programs. The list of converted programs approved by NYSED is posted on the Calendar Conversion website: https://www.rit.edu/conversion/facstaff_redesign.php. • Academic Senate has approved 173 academic programs.
