Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Dedmon Center, as the Lady Flames attempt to complete a regular-season sweep of the Highlanders. The “Starting Five” - Today’s Top Storylines 1) Liberty will look to keep its hopes for a Big South regular-season title alive with a victory. If the Lady Flames defeat Radford, they will move into a tie for second place in the conference standings, one game behind the winner of Thursday’s High Point at Winthrop contest. 2) Both Liberty and Radford are trending in the right direction heading into the Big South Women’s Basketball Championship. The Lady Flames have won three straight games and five of the last six outings. Meanwhile, Radford is 4-3 in its last seven contests. 3) The Lady Flames and Highlanders have been prominent fixtures throughout the history of the Big South Women’s Basketball Championship, combining to win 24 of the tournament’s 27 titles. 4) Three-point shooting could be important during Thursday’s matchup. A stretch of eight straight made three-pointers keyed Liberty’s victory over Winthrop on Saturday. Meanwhile, Radford’s Ayana Avery ranks eighth nationally in three-pointers made. 5) Liberty’s Ashley Rininger is the reigning Big South Player of the Week, garnering the honor for the third time this season. She played well against Radford on Dec. 7, totaling 18 points and a career-high 15 rebounds during Liberty’s victory. No. 21 5 15 55 34 1 3 4 10 12 13 22 23 44 Liberty’s Probable Starters Pos. Ht.
