The passage of the recent Health
Care Legislation included a Student
Aid Reform Bill. To ensure that
students continue to receive
funding we are moving exclusively
to the William D. Ford Federal Direct
Loan program.
In order to borrow from the Federal
Stafford and/or Federal PLUS loan
programs for upcoming Summer
or Fall 2010 semesters, you must
complete a new Master Promissory
Note (MPN).
To apply for a William D. Ford
Federal Direct Loan:
• Go to www.dlenote.ed.gov
• Click on the link to complete the
_-Free Application for Federal Student
_-Aid (FAFSA)
To apply for a Stafford
student loan:
• Click on the link to complete entrance
counseling (required for new students;
optional for returning students)
• Click on the link to sign Master
Promissory Note (MPN)
• Complete William D. Ford Stafford

To apply for a PLUS
(parent) loan:
• Must apply for a FAFSA to be
considered for a PLUS loan
