Job Placement Assistance: 1- on -1 job coaching assisting through job seeking transition.
Overview of Programs:
Case Management & Intensive Case Management: Services include working 1-on-1 with a
Case Manager on any needs of a particular youth,
such as housing, child care, and following up on
referrals.
Family Counseling: Professional guidance in
resolving personal conflicts and emotional problems.
GED Preparation: A unique GED curriculum
that connects young adults to career pathways
through a combination of academic skill building,
job readiness training, leadership development,
and college planning.
Conservation Corps/GED Preparation:
Youth gain hands on experience working in
County and State parks while studying to attain
their GED. Five month program also includes job
readiness training, life skills, and case management support.
Internships: MMYC hosts a summer internship
serving between 50-100 youth. Placements are determined based on youth career interest. Internships may occur and are offered as they become
available year round.
Post Secondary Exploration: Seniors, and those
that have already graduated high school/GED
program seeking career guidance/counseling to a
post-secondary education
(FAFSA, scholarships, college enrollment).
Training/Certifications: MMYC offers different opportunities of certifications on site and is
often in collaboration with other entities around
the county.
How much? Is this for me?
FREE There is NO direct cost to the students
or families. Services are for in & out of school
youth.
