Dear Parents and Guardians:
Each year, the Department of Transportation reviews school bus routes across the county for safety and
compliance with Montgomery County Schools' policies and regulations to assure the most efficient
use of resources possible. Every effort is made to strike a balance between convenient school bus
stops for students, efficient routes, and consistent service levels while keeping safety the top priority.
Adjustments are made to school bus routes as roadways and neighborhoods change and develop, which
often provide added pedestrian accessibility. It is extremely important that every measure be taken to
appropriately implement changes that create equitable delivery of service to all students and schools.
The changes noted below impact Rocky Hill Middle School for the 2015-2016 school year:
