Welcome to Frost Edline

Welcome to RFMS Edline!
Edline is a system designed to help students, parents, and teachers communicate. Parents can access
their students' grades in Edline, communicate with their child’s teachers through email, and in some
cases, assignments are also available.
Once you have activated your account, and your school has posted information, you can use Edline
to:
Check your child’s latest grades
Receive email alerts when new grades
are posted
Receive emails with school or class
information
See what homework is not turned in
View team and club activities
Contact the PTSA
View your Combined Calendar to see
all the events from the school
calendar and your child’s own classes
and activities automatically collected
and personalized
Read daily announcements, lunch
menus, school policies, and classroom
news
And much more…
Important Information Regarding Your RFMS Edline Account:
How do I access Edline (parent or guardian)?


Parents of returning 7th and 8th Grade Students: You will not need the activation code
again—you will now access Edline using the screen name and password you created during the
activation process.
Parents of New Students and Incoming 6th Grade Students: You need to activate your
account. Activation codes for new users are mailed home at the end of August by MCPS.
Watch for them in the mail! Once you have your activation code follow the directions
included to activate your account.
How does my child access Edline?

RFMS students have their own account separate from their parent/guardian’s account.
Students will activate their Edline account through science classes in September.
I have not received my Edline Activation code - How do I go about getting this code?
Again, activation codes for new users will be mailed home by MCPS at the end of August.
Watch for them in the mail! If you do not receive your code by mid-September, send an email
to [email protected] with your name, child’s name, and grade level.
