NJROTC Students of the 3rd Quarter
Cadet Gabriela Pena is Caring.
She earned an A for the 3rd
quarter and serves as a Student
Aide and Community Service
Team commander for NJROTC.
With a very calm and respectful
demeanor, she takes time to
assist instructors as well as
individual cadets with drill,
uniform issues, administrative
work, or anything requiring
attention.
She willingly participates in and
volunteers for many NJROTC
events including Drill Team, Color
Guard, Academic Team, and
Community Service events and
competitions.
Gabriela is a model for all cadets
and student to emulate.
Jose Rodriguez is a Risk Taker.
Cadet Jose Rodriguez has earned an
A for the 3rd quarter. He exhibits a
positive outlook and attitude in
the classroom, setting an example of
excellence in behavior and
cooperation. He willingly
participates in and volunteers for
many NJROTC events including Drill
Team, Academic Team, Community
Service and Color Guard. Cadet
Rodriguez is an exceptional example
for all cadets to follow.
World Languages
Students of the 3rd Quarter
Glaiza Lopez is Principled.
She is a student that stands out
because she is a risk taker on a daily
basis. Glaiza always volunteers to
respond and takes leadership roles in
the classroom. She is also very
knowledgeable because she works
very hard to understand what is being
taught. Lastly, Glaiza is extremely
caring; she helps her classmates out
without any hesitation.
Jonathan Ramos is Balanced.
He has proved to be balanced by
being able to balance both baseball
and his studies. He is a risk taker in
Spanish class as he is always trying
to use new words we learn in class.
He is also very knowledgeable and
reflective because he is able to
compare what he's learning in class
to his native dialect. He is also
extremely open minded and always
willing to learn something new. He's
an exceptional student!
CTE Students of the 3rd Quarter
Manuel Martinez is an Inquirer.
Manuel comes to class prepared
to learn every day and is focused
on his future. He strives for
perfection in all of his work and is
a real credit to the strong
character of the Seneca Valley
community.
Parker Chace is Principled.
Parker is driven to learn as much
as possible in the short time left
in high school. The future will be
here very soon and Parker wants
to be ready for it. He voraciously
consumes the material in class
with great intent on using it to
his full advantage in his future
pursuits.
PE and Health Students of the 3rd
Quarter
Catherine Wraback is Principled.
Catherine achieved all A’s this
marking period and is an
exceptional student in academic
classes as well as classes with
physical demands.
Mamadou Ibrahim
is a Communicator.
Mamadou Ibrahim is
Balanced.
Mamadou achieved all A’s and
B’s this marking period and is
a student to watch here at
Seneca Valley. His
participation on our school
sports teams shows his
interest in county
competition. He
demonstrates his competitive
nature in class as well.
Social Studies Students of the 3rd Quarter
Chinenye Nwachukwu is
Principled.
Chinenye achieved all A’s for
third marking period and strives
for excellence in her AP US
History class while being a huge
contributor to the Eagle Varsity
Girls’ Basketball team. She was
also recognized last quarter for
Science as a Student of the
Quarter. Expect great things
from this sophomore scholar in
years to come.
Ron Jako Domingo is a RiskTaker.
Ron excels in his classes and is
constantly seeking out the why
regarding the importance of
historical events and how they
impact our present day
circumstances. He is a big
contributor to class discussions
and is an asset to any productive
class.
Music Students of the 3rd Quarter
Matthew Bolin is a Thinker.
Matthew is an outstanding
member of the SVHS Men’s
Choir. He is always on task and
a leader in the choir. He is a
pleasure to have in choir!
Phoebe Lam is a Principled.
Phoebe is an exceptional member
of the SVHS Treble Choir. She
always puts forth 100% effort and
is focused and a pleasure to have
in class!
Art Students of the 3rd Quarter
Shane Daly is Caring.
Shane is very respectful and open
to learn about different points of
views. He is never judgmental in
how he treats others no matter
gender or cultural background.
He is a mature young man who
embraces the challenge of the IB
curriculum.
Amy Lai is Principled.
Amy is principled, creative, and
diligent. She experiments with a
variety of different art making
methods and uses her time wisely.
Science Students of the 3rd Quarter
Tatiana Chavez is Knowledgeable.
Tatiana Chavez’s natural
curiosity helps her to be
successful in science
classes. She thinks before she
answers questions and is not
afraid to approach unfamiliar
situations.
Bryan Chavez is a Communicator.
Bryan Chavez is an effective
communicator in science class. He
approaches new tasks with an
open mind and is reflective of his
learning.
Math Students of the 3rd Quarter
Cristhian Sorto is Principled.
He inspires his classmates to
learn and work hard. He is a
models student that sets the
bar high for himself and
elevates the academic nature
of his fellow classmates.
Layla Behnia is Caring.
She has consistently given
100% each day, modeling a
perfect student and helping
other students. She achieves
great satisfaction not only
from her own
accomplishments, but also by
helping others to achieve.
ESOL Students of the 3rd Quarter
Boubacar Barry is OpenMinded.
He helps others in class and
appreciates other
cultures. He also is willing to
discuss other’s points of
views and see the value that
these views add in expanding
his own.
Juan Silva Villami is
Reflective.
Juan is dedicated to his
learning and educational
experiences. He also shares
his learning with others. He
contemplates how each lesson
builds upon his foundation in
mastering the four domains of
the English language.
English Students of the 3rd Quarter
Vera Bzhilyanskaya is
Reflective.
She thoughtfully considers the world
(often using her experiences from
Japan) and her own ideas and
experiences to share in class
discussions. When the class works to
understand our strengths and
weaknesses, Vera is always open to
receive feedback on her learning and
personal development. She is a
diligent student who always remains
conscientious about her academic
career.
Kashaun Lynn is a critical
and creative thinker.
She consistently displays her
analysis skills when reading and
she takes responsibility for her
academic workload.
Kashaun exercises initiative
during group work and she
makes reasoned and ethical
decisions.
