Michel Bikai Bassi is a Risk-Taker.
With a tenacious spirit, Michel
continually edits and revises his
analytical writing until he has
reached his own high standard of
proficiency. Michel’s work ethic
encourages risk-taking in the
classroom that will enable all
students to push themselves to
achieve more than they thought
possible at the start.
Chardonay Stewart is an
Inquirer.
Never satisfied with the ‘simple’
answer, Chardonay is always
ready with a follow-up question
or an alternative perspective.
Her questions are never
disruptive; they are additive. She
pushes herself and the rest of
the class to do more than learn;
she pushes
students to love
learning as well.
Science Students of the 1st Quarter
David Chilin Pineda is Reflective.
Throughout the quarter David
consistently reflected upon what
he could do better to improve his
grade and his writing on his
internal assessments. He
welcomed feedback and initiated
conversations with his teacher so
that he better understood the
material and expectations.
Shadie Brown is a Thinker and is
Knowledgeable.
Shadie is disciplined,
hardworking, and demonstrates
enthusiasm and
determination. She is prepared
for class and is fully engaged
throughout every single lesson.
NJROTC Students of the 1st Quarter
Maria Macedo is Principled.
As the NJROTC Supply Officer, she
has demonstrated exceptional
initiative, attentiveness, and
leadership. She is leading 4 Supply
Assistants to help maintain
inventory of all NJROTC uniforms
and also keeps the supply room
clean and in order.
Amanda Beal is Knowledgeable.
As the NJROTC Administrative
Officer, she inputs all cadet data
into the old Navy data base and is
teaching other cadets to operate
the new Navy data base. In
addition to her duties as Admin
Officer, she is also the Unarmed
Exhibition Team Commander,
utilizing creativity and drill
expertise to create a
competitive routine.
Math Students of the 1st Quarter
Nicole Martinez is Caring.
She earned an A this quarter and
is constantly participating and
answering and asking questions
as well. She is a very kind and
caring student who assists her
classmates in mastering the
course objectives. Nicole is a
model for all at Seneca Valley.
Adrian Feliz-Platt is a Risk Taker.
He is a hard worker who always
demonstrates his ability to take a
previous concept and apply it to
new material. As a classmate, he
is always willing to explain a
problem to the rest of his peers
and will often show multiple
representations of the
same problem.
Music Students of the 1st Quarter
Christopher Rivera is Principled.
He has been an exceptional
member of the Men's
Choir! Although he left us for 1
year, we are thrilled to have him
back at Seneca where he is a
leader and role model within the
choir class. He is always 100%
focused, positive and gives forth
maximum effort! He is a valued
member of the SV choir
program!
Woudasie Admasu is
Balanced.
She has been a dedicated
member of the choir
program for 3 years. She has
put forth enormous effort to
become a better sight
reader, musician and is an
overall team player. She is
always willing to help when
needed and is a true asset to
the choir program!

Tania jumped into the IB
Diploma Program with two
feet. Tania is a happy, hardworking student who brings a
fresh perspective to class
