Maryvale Elementary is hosting its 12th Annual Fall Fling Silent Auction and Carnival on Saturday, Oct 10. Set up is

Event #2
We are a theater group within Congregation Har Shalom (a pre-approved SSL non-profit organization in Montgomery
County) and are putting on a stage production of Arthur Miller's All My Sons in October. We are looking for students
to work backstage during the run of the production. All performances take place at Har Shalom.
This play was chosen for the scope of the moral issues it addresses; these issues written in the context of World War
II, are no less relevant today. It is especially appropriate at this time of year as we examine our consciences and
struggle with conflicting choices in determining the paths we take.
The performance dates are as follows and each performance runs 2 to 2 1/2 hrs:
Thursday, October 15, 8:00 pm
Saturday, October 17, 8:00 pm
Sunday, October 18, 1:00 pm
Thursday, October 22, 8:00 pm
Saturday, October 24, 8:00 pm
Sunday, October 25, 1:00 pm
Backstage duties include assisting actors with costume changes, assembling and managing the props tables, alerting
actors when to be in place backstage, placing and removing some props on stage prior to and between acts. There
are no set changes in this production and no furniture or other heavy items to be moved. Students will be provided
with scripts, stage layouts, and assigned duties prior to the performances.
We were very fortunate to have 2 students join us for last year's production and hope that we shall be able to again
work with Churchill students.
