Students boarding buses that are not approved causes a safety issue. If your student is a walker, please make sure they are not boarding buses. This area is a developing area, and space is needed for incoming students. Thanks for all your assistance this school year. Leo’s Club: The Leo Club is sponsoring Teens for Jeans. We will be collecting gently-used jeans that will be donated to young people living in local shelters. We will happily accept any style, color or size jeans. The Jean Drive will run from January 15th – January 29th. Jeans can be placed in donation boxes around the school or in portable # Outdoor Education- t-shirt - water bottle Sale: 6th Grade Outdoor Education is coming soon! Our RHMS community has a story to tell about community service, innovation and courage in the movement towards building a culture of tolerance and inclusion. This year, RHMS will take pride in all its richness and diversity in a format never before offered. What started as a vision from our truly inspired, visionary PTA leadership, has now become a movement with outstretched arms. Hosted by the RHMS PTA, we are sharing our evening of inspiration with the entire cluster of schools in our community and we are asking each cluster school to participate in a very special way. Evening highlights will include: Key Note Speaker: Ms. Betty Collins, Director, Department of Instructional Leadership Support for MCPS Performances By: The Metropolitan Ballet Company, RHMS Combined Orchestra, RHMS Combined Chorus, and cluster school participation in “building” our community. A brief reception with light fare and refreshments will kick off this festive evening. For more event information or to volunteer for this event, please contact Pamela Wise at [email protected]. Our first planning meeting will be held on January 14th at 7pm. Chess Club: Join us on January 13th for Chess Club The chess club is open to everyone regardless of experience.
