Parent Volunteers
All parent volunteers are REQUIRED to participate in a training on Child Abuse and Neglect
Procedures for MCPS.
ALL Outdoor Education Parent Volunteers must participate in an Online Training Module or an InPerson Training. No parent volunteers will be allowed to attend OE if he/she has not participated in
the training sessions.
In-Person Training dates are as follows:
 Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 6 – 7:30 pm at Argyle MS (Media Center)
 Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 10 – 11:30 am at CESC (MCPS 850 Hungerford Dr.
Rockville, MD 20850 (Auditorium)
 Monday, March 14, 2016 from 6 – 7:30 pm at Forest Oak MS (Media Center)
 CONFIRMED: Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 6 – 7:30 pm at Rocky Hill MS (Cafeteria)

OVERNIGHT Parent Volunteers ONLY:
 In addition to the training you must be fingered printed. Overnight chaperones must
go to OHRD (45 West Gude Dr, (Lobby) Rockville, MD 20850. There is no fee if
completed at OHRD! OR American Identity Solutions (AIS) – various locations – see
AIS voucher $20 for locations.
 If you are currently employed by Montgomery County Public Schools or law
enforcement (local, state, or federal) you do not need to be finger printed.
