“SENIORS – There are a lot of you who still have not
completed ALL of you SSL Hours. This may prevent you
from picking up your Cap and Gown on May 26th and
from participating in graduation rehearsal! Some of you
have completed the hours, but have not turned in the
form. What are you waiting for? Complete your hours
and turn in your forms to the main office or to Mr. Young
in the counseling office ASAP. This is a Graduation
Requirement! If you are not sure if you have completed
all of you hours, please see your counselor! Thank you”
Would you like to earn SSL Hours this Summer
at Watkins Mill High School? The main office
needs bright, motivated students to earn SSL
hours this summer assisting in the main
office. You will have the opportunity to learn
important office skills. You would commit to
one day per week, for a four hour
shift. Interested students should fill out the
form (found in main office) and return to Mrs.
Brown or Mrs. Mitchel.

Attention all 9th, 10, and 11th grade students! If
you are interested in running for student
government for the 2016-2017 school year, there
will be a MANDATORY meeting Wednesday, May
18 in B102 at the start of STEP. All those wanting
to run for a position within Student Government
or a Class Officer must attend. This includes
current members! If you are unable to attend,
please see Ms. Squier in B102 prior to May 18.
Attention College bound Juniors: Register
today for the June ACT if you have not yet
taken a college admissions test or if you did
but are not happy with your scores. Register
online at actstudent.org and pay with a credit
card or see your counselor if you think you
might qualify for a fee waiver. Get free online
test prep on Family Connection.
