2016 Scholarship Application
Application Deadline: Friday, March 25, 5 pm
In response to continuing faculty requests for funding professional development related to faculty
leadership and academic management, Faculty Career Development Services (FCDS) is pleased
to announce a limited number of scholarships for the summer Cornell Faculty Leadership &
Professional Development Program. This 5-day program offers participants an opportunity to
gain leadership and personal effectiveness skills, reflect on career and personal goals, and connect
with colleagues from multiple institutions. The conference will be held Monday-Friday, June
20-24, 2016, 8:30 am-4:30 pm, at the Highland Lodge Retreat Center in Trumansburg, NY,
http://highlandlodgecenter.com.
If awarded, the FCDS scholarship covers the program fee of $1,600 (nonrefundable). Light
breakfast foods (available starting at 8:00), lunch, beverages and afternoon snacks each day are
included in the program fee. Travel expenses, lodging, and other meals are the responsibility of
the faculty member awarded the scholarship.
