I am glad to announce that the
old school store
and the pride store
have been combined! Some of
you may not remember the old
school store that
was open in the
morning, but I am
sure most of you
know the pride
store. Recently, the
school has decided
to combine them,
which is awesome.
Now let’s get into
some of the specifics. The first of
the information I
have gathered are
the times. The
times are Tuesdays
and Thursdays
from 7:15 -7:30am,
Lunch A and Lunch
B on the 1st and 3rd
Fridays of the
month, and
Wednesdays 2:202:30. The average
cost of an item is
1-20 props and to
make things even
more awesome,
you can get cool
stuff for low costs
with just money.
The average price
is $0.10-$2.75. During holidays there is
special pricing for
purchases. The store
is also looking for
new or never used
stuff to make it better. So come on
down to The Timber
Wolf Trading and get
some awesome
things!

The Red Moon
By Aidan Auel
Some of you
might have noticed
one evening in October that the moon
was blood red. No,
the world is not
ending! The Lunar
eclipse, also known
as the Red Moon, is
entirely normal and
happens when the
earth blocks the sun
from the moon. This
results in the moon
having a Blood Red
color, hence the
name. Before
modern science
many people
thought it was a
warning from
God or the end
of the world. If
you are interested
in seeing one,
you’re going to have
to wait 4 months.
The next lunar
eclipse is scheduled
to be April 4, 2015.

The Dark Crystal
By Remy Anderson
Have you ever
seen a movie where
the human race is extinct and the world
breaks into 3 species
and one is killed out
but except for one
member! If you said
no you’ve probably
never seen “The Dark
Crystal”. The movie
takes place after the
human race has died
out and there are
three races of life: the
cruel skepsies, the nice
mystics, and the gelflings. The film begins
with 10 mystics and 10
skepsies. When one
mystic dies one skepsie dies as well. The
Page 6
skepsies live in the castle
that has The Dark Crystal. The dark crystal is a
crystal that is missing a
shard and without the
shard the world is barren
and cold. But with the
shard in place the world
is pretty and nice. But
one day the skepsies discover the prophecy. The
prophecy says that one
day a gelfling will find the
shard and put it in its
place and the world will
be peaceful. The skepsies
didn’t like that. So they
killed all the gelflings but
they missed a few. When
the shard falls in the
hands of the last gelfling
(or so they thought) he
goes on an adventure to unite
the shard with
the help of Kiara a gelfling
that lives in the
woods and
Okra a witch.

D.C.’s Veteran’s Day Extravaganza
By: Colin Miller
On November 11, 2014, Washington D.C.’s National Mall held
a “Concert for Valor” to represent our American war veterans and their families. The following musical artists and bands
performed: Bruce Springsteen, Eminem, The Foo Fighters, Carrie Underwood, Rihanna, Metallica, The Black Keys, Jessie J,
The Zac Brown Band, and Jennifer Hudson. Over 800,000
people showed up to the concert and the National Mall was
packed. The veterans were truly honored that people from all
around came to see the concert and honor the men that
fought for their country. The concert was sponsored by Starbucks, Chase, and HBO, and it was televised live by HBO
bringing in an even bigger crowd of viewers! The HBO executive chief Richard Plepler said that this concert could become an annual event held on Veteran’s Day every year. The
concert officially started at 9:00 pm and ended at around midnight. Hopefully the people at HBO decide to have another
concert next year to honor our veterans once more.
