Student Service Learning Hours (SSL)
• Students are required to earn 75 SSL hours
between the summer of their 5th grade year and
graduation
• Students will earn 30 of their 75 hours while they
are here at Redland
– 10 hours through Science in 6th grade
– 10 hours through English in 7th grade
– 10 hours through Social Studies in 8th grade
• Ms. Brenda Young, Media Specialist, is our SSL
coordinator and can help you with any questions
or concerns.
