Fee Open to all, the history school is a great chance to learn more about radical and trade union history. Running ahead of the annual Tolpuddle Martyrs’ Festival it offers a chance to learn lessons from the past in beautiful, rural Dorset. There will be plenty of opportunity for discussion. £50 per person includes entry to the Festival and barbeque on Thursday evening. The only additional charges will be for camping and parking on site. Early booking is strongly advised. Where is it? Tolpuddle, Dorset DT2 7EH The history school will take place in the Festival site near the TUC Tolpuddle Martyrs’ Museum. Getting there Take the train to Dorchester. Participants will be able to camp or park a camper van in the Festival field. There is not much accommodation in the village but there are good guest houses and bed and breakfast options in West Dorset.
