Through our partnership with Microsoft, all current students, faculty and staff are eligible to receive Office 365 Pro Plus on
their Windows or Mac OS X computers, smartphones and tablets for free. There’s no catch, and it will remain active as long
as you are a current student, faculty or staff!
Get Office for your home computer

Visit the Office 365 Pro Plus portal at http://office.com/getoffice365.
Click Find out if you’re eligible, and then enter your complete COM email address.
Click sign up.
You will receive an email from the Microsoft Office 365 team with a link to complete your verification.
At the verification form, fill out your personal information, set a new password and click Start.
Click Install Now.
When prompted by your browser, click run and follow the installation wizard. This may take a while depending on
the speed of your Internet!
o Mac OS X: wait until the executable package downloads, then double click on it and follow the installation
wizard’s instructions.
From any Office application (Word, Excel, Power Point), choose Sign in to an existing Office 365 subscription. It is
important to use the COM email address and password you created when registering on the Office 365 Pro Plus website.

When you graduate, your Office 365 subscription ends upon graduation. You may enroll into consumer or commercial
subscriptions of Office 365.
Q. If I recently purchased Office and am now also be eligible for free Office 365 ProPlus though my school, will I receive
any credit and/or compensation?
No. The Office purchased is a consumer offering and students can continue to take advantage of the purchased offer.
