LTD. until all cheques are cleared. If any buyer desires to obtain registration papers
immediately, the horse must be paid for by cash.

1. Showcase is open to any breed or non registered horse of any gender. Horses must be 4 years old or older.
2. Horses must be sound of sight, wind and limb. Horses will be considered based on : conformation, soundness,
condition and suitability to ranch work.
3. We encourage and advise prospective purchasers to exercise their duty in evaluating the horse.
4. Horses nominated to the showcase cannot be withdrawn without acceptable veterinary documentation. Entry fee is
non-refundable.
5. Registered horses must have all original current registration paperwork accompany the entry including a signed
transfer.
6. The auction company reserves the right to decline any entry that does not meet minimum standards of compliance.

7. Horses will be demonstrated and sold in the same order. Order will be determined by random draw.
8. All persons attending the show and sale do so at their own risk.
Format of Showcase.
The showcase is designed to provide an opportunity to market well broke working ranch horses.
The emphasis is on the experienced and reliable working horse either registered or grade.
The auction company will provide an enhanced marketing opportunity for these preferred horses both through sale
advertising and the individual showcase on sale day.
On sale day each entry will have a 6 minute working time in the outdoor show arena. The entries will be allowed to
demonstrate their ability to perform daily ranch chores.
It is recommended that riders demonstrate the willingness of the horse to be bridled, have its feet lifted for shoeing or
trimming and show acceptable ground manners.
It is recommended that riders perform a modified reining pattern to exhibit the horses response to the bridle commands.
This should consist of left and right circles, left and right rollbacks, spins and stops. The order of these maneuvers is at
the riders discretion.
Each entry will be provided with a suitable yearling to demonstrate the cow working ability of the horse. It is
recommended that the yearling be boxed on the short end of the arena, turned at least once each way down the long
side of the arena before being roped and stopped.
Riders are reminded that the yearling should not be choked or drug. This is an opportunity to showcase your horse and
your stockmanship. Use your time and exposure wisely.
. Any animal abuse will not be tolerated.
The rider will be responsible for use of the 6 minute time allotment. Each entry will be given a warning when 2 minutes
is remaining .
The above suggestions are guidelines to demonstrating each entry. The rider will be the best judge of how to high light
the horses talents. As each horse performs the auction company will endeavor to provide commentary to the public to
increase the value of the horse both in the arena and the sale ring.
