Greetings! 2008 was a year of progress for Victory Junction and one
which will position us for great success in the future.
While Victory Junction evolves, you will notice several new changes to
the overall program, but also to the 2008 annual report. In order to
transition to a ‘green’ facility and operation model, and also to keep
costs low, the Victory Junction annual report will be available online at
www.victoryjunction.org. Detailed giving reports will still be available
upon request.
Victory Junction is looking forward to 2010. In May, the new camp officially
placed its stake in the ground during a ceremonial groundbreaking
event. Although we don’t anticipate beginning construction soon, this
is a milestone in Victory Junction’s history. Within this annual report, the
numbers represent both camps’ financials combined as one.
In 2010 we want to engage you in new ways and develop creative
strategies to best serve your needs as well as the needs of Victory
Junction.
There is also a major initiative to increase exposure through advertising
and public relations avenues. By now, you may have seen a Victory
Junction commercial running on ESPN during the NASCAR Nationwide
Series races. When you log in to the website, you will notice a new,
fresh design which should enable users to navigate the site much easier.
As you can tell, there is a lot going on at Victory Junction. The mission
could not be fulfilled without the generosity and dedication of our
donors, volunteers and staff. We truly appreciate all you do and look
forward to another successful year.
