Design Considerations
The sleek and flush modern aesthetic allows our Stalwart
ID Steel Doors to be commonly be used in situations where
traditional timber doors may be used.
Stalwart ID Steel Doors are available in a range of polyester
powder coating colours and woodgrains, as well as having
capacity for areas requiring stainless steel with brushed,
polished and patterned finishes.
A range of attractive woodgrain PVC laminates are also
available, combining the traditional timber aesthetic with the
expected modern durability of steel.
Sitework
Health & Safety
Steel Doors are supplied fully assembled with hardware fitted as
standard which, when combined with our adjustable fixing feet and
variable sub-frame, reduces time on site and simplifies installation.
Steel Doors must be installed by Safetell's technical specialists into
prepared openings. The door blades are constructed using two
1.2mm corrosion resistant steel sheet lock-formed together by two
1mm bonding skins of Aluzinc formed around a rigid honeycomb
core using a no-weld construction.
Service & Maintenance
Additional information
The single fix design of our doors can offer greater cost savings
when priced against overall installation times for timber doors, and
the inherent durability of steel means that in areas of high traffic or
potential abuse, the lifetime cost of steel doors can be significantly
less than timber doors. Safetell's service division provides the
UK with complete maintenance call out services for all Safetell
products.
Stalwart ID Steel Doors can also be custom manufactured
as Acoustic Doors. These acoustic doors are used in many
applications to offer privacy and to reduce the transference of
noise from one area to another.
