Suggested J\fanagement
The surface of Rush Pond is choked with pickerel-weed,
arrowhead, water lilies, and rushes with the exception of the
narrow channel near the west shore. The bottom of most of
the pond is blanketed with a thick layer of organic sediment.
Fish are not abundant in this habitat.
Rush Pond provides a small winter fishery for pickerel. This
is probably the best management possible for this peculiar
body of water.
No stocking is recommended.
