Suggested J\fanagement The surface of Rush Pond is choked with pickerel-weed, arrowhead, water lilies, and rushes with the exception of the narrow channel near the west shore. The bottom of most of the pond is blanketed with a thick layer of organic sediment. Fish are not abundant in this habitat. Rush Pond provides a small winter fishery for pickerel. This is probably the best management possible for this peculiar body of water. No stocking is recommended.
