We like to plan our activities, trips and events so that they will keep the children cool, entertained and delighted
in spite of extreme afternoon temperatures. Children will enjoy trips to the River Beaches & skating in addition to
several other trips/activities. Children will be given a calendar that will let you know what activities they are doing
and when they have trips. Children must bring a bag lunch, Child must have completed Kindergarten to

Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, well organized, well supervised summer camp experience for 4 &
5 yr. olds. Every day the children play (of course !), do arts & crafts, have a snack, go outside, sing songs &
dance, play group games and much more!! You will receive a calendar on the first day of camp highlighting
weekly themes and special days. Your child will need to bring a healthy snack every day.
Children must be 4 before July 1, 2016 and MUST NOT have attended Kindergarten.

SUMMER SOCCER CAMP

Children be split up into teams to play against each other at the end of every day. They stay with the
same team all week though everbody plays together in the morning. The players on all teams accumulate points
accumulate points for good sportsmanship, helping coach, good skills, scoring goals, winning games, wearing team
colors, etc. Friday is “Tournament Day” and parents are encouraged to come and watch the games! All participants
will receive a tee shirt.
GOLF CAMP

Using the SNAG (Starting New At Golf system) the modified golf clubs will encourage players to develop the correct

Throughout the week, players will develop their stick handling, catching & passing skills. Each day will end with co

an understanding of offensive & defensive plays and will be encouraged to implement these into a scrimmage.

If you do not have an existing Community Pass
account follow these steps:
To Register in Person When Applicable:
From the Point Pleasant Borough Community Pass login homepage click on
the “Create an Account” tab.
On the next page complete the “Account Creation” fields and click on Create
at the bottom of the page. The next page will display a Privacy Policy,
which you will need to Accept and then click on Finish.
Point Pleasant Recreation will automatically be notified that you have
created a Family account and are now registered within their Community
Pass site. You will be able to register for programs as soon as you submit
required Proof of Residency, Age and Appropriate Forms to Point Pleasant
Recreation.
You are required to show the appropriate proof of residency and age in
person at the Recreation Center before the start of the program. Participants
will not be able to attend the program until all required material is handed in.
Only Checks will be accepted in person and must be made out to the “Borough of Point
Pleasant.” A fee of $20.00 will be charged for any checks that are returned to us.
Registration in person will be held weekdays from 9am-3pm beginning June 13th, 2016.
Please remember that registration is a first come first served basis and will also be available
online.
**Recreation programs are for residents of Point Pleasant Borough only.
The Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment.
Registrants will be offered the choice of an alternate class if available or a refund.
Refunds are made by Purchase Order, in accordance with our refund policy.
There are no refunds on trips or special events unless cancelled by us. There are no refunds
once a program has begun.
If required and asked, additional proof of age and residency must be provided for certain
programs. Any required forms for certain programs must be filled out and handed in before
the start of the program.
Please keep your user name and password in a safe place so you have them
readily accessible when registration for summer programs begins.
The Recreation Department reserves the right to remove a program participant if it turns out
they do not meet the appropriate requirements.
