No longer need to use inconvenient and dangerous high pressure hydrogen cylinders in laboratory. 1/5 2. First, please check whether there is unusual phenomenon such as the serious damage on the surface or inside of the instrument caused from transportation, and then check the power cord and other accessories. 2. Electrolyte preparation on: Dilute 180g KOH with distilled water of 400ml. After KOH solution becomes cool, inject it into the pool (Volume 1.2 L), then add distilled water until it reaches the level of the middle line (between H and L line). Cover with a pool lid and start to work. 3. Screw the sealing cap (in the back of the instrument) tightly to be sure of no leakage 4. Start power, the flow is about “300”, the piezometer instructs to rise gradually till 0.4 MPa. After a few minutes, the flow is “000” and it shows the instrument has no leakage. 5. With all the above being normal, close the power. Take off the sealed cap 2/5 and connect the GC with gas pipe and be sure no leakage. 6. Start the power only for the second time use. V.Warm notice 1. Observe the silica-gel drying room from the side and change silica gel when 1/3 of color is changed (put them in a container then put it in the oven under 248F for2-3hours). Close the power first; when the pressure is showed to be zero, rotate the room in the clockwise direction, change the silica gel and reinstall it. Make sure no leakage。 2.The instrument only consumes distilled water not KOH when working ,so it is only need to add distilled water for the daily use and insure electrolyte liquid line between H and L line, (Suggestion: Change electrolyte every 3 to 4months), 3. Do not work full capacity for long time. 4. Changing color gel must be under no pressure. VI.Special notice 1.When indicating pressure is lower or higher than ordinary, it is generally caused by the leakage. Check the leakage by soap liquid. When changing the silica gel, do not leave anything between the upper and the lower sealing circle on the screw. 2. Boot up empty gas equipment is prohibited! When in no use for a long time, draw out electrolyte. Inject distilled water and draw it out after the whole process. Let it dry in the shade. 3/5 3.
